There’s No Such Thing As Ghosts

Dress and heels via Forever 21

This probably has been the most creatively challenging shoot I’ve had in a while. Of course, Jazzy and I didn’t location hunt prior and decided a run down church near our school would be appropriate for a Halloween shoot. We didn’t think such a small and bleak location would reap abundant pictures but boy, were we wrong.

I remember when I was in elementary school and I dressed up as Daphne Blake year after year, who is the fashionista slash martial artist amongst the detectives of the Mystery Gang. No other classic character could fit me more.

Dressing up as her again was not only a nostalgic experience for me, but it made me fall in love with her character all over again; which I brought to life at auditions. My dreams, unfortunately, didn’t come true this year but I guess I have more mysteries to solve ’til then.

Definitely like these shots. Sometimes it's the places near you that you never expect to have good shots

Thank you, and I agree! Thinking inside the box isn't bad either.
