Day In The Life
As pretty as Instagram makes things seem, not all day-to-day experiences of an influencer are glamorous.
Often times, we have 12-hour days packed with meetings, tastings, showroom visits, and events; save for the logistical side of things via emails and meeting deadlines. We're on-the-go all the damn time. Sometimes all we see is just BTS of photoshoots but don't see the process of pulling clothes, props, location scouting, hair and make-up, down to post-production.
Some days we have no breaks or time to go home and often have to sport a day-to-night lewk; crossing fingers some setting spray keeps the face from fading too.
It takes a lot to make our social presence look as effortless as it does. Without the grit, there wouldn't be any glamour.
As time goes on, you start to figure out ways to cut corners to make these bustling schedules bustle a little less. My favorite secret? I'm super conscious of what I do to my body for the long run, whether it's with the food I eat or wearing SPF, so wearing proper shoes is a must if I want to avoid back problems later on.
